Abstract

An efficient fully parallel numerical algorithm is presented for simulations of dispersion-managed wavelength-division-multiplexed fiber systems. The algorithm exploits a weak nonlin-earity approximation and independent parallel calculations of fast Fourier transforms in parallel network of M CPUs, which allows M/2 times faster simulations compare to split-step method.
