Fast Hybrid Method For Analysis Of Optical Diffraction By Finite Number Of Gratings

Abstract

A hybrid method combining the finite element method and antenna theory has been developed to analyze the problem of optical diffraction by finite number of grating. The method is very fast, rigorous and robust and best of all can use any available commercial packages to replace the finite element part.
