Abstract

We have analyzed Optical eye fundus photographs. The main objective was to implement optimized procedures to characterize the fractal nature of retinal blood vessels. We used optical techniques previously reported by us for various fractal objects. In particular, the filtering techniques that provide the hierarchical properties of the fractal have been applied.
