Abstract
The National Ignition Facility (NIF) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is a 192-beam, 1.8-Megajoule, 500-Terawatt, ultraviolet laser system. NIF will be the world’s highest energy laser system for the study of matter at extreme energy densities and inertial confinement fusion. This talk will discuss NIF’s laser system commissioning and performance*
