Active range-resolved Fourier transform spectroscopy

Abstract

This paper presents a dual-comb interferometer used as a range resolved spectrometer. Gas signatures are measured from aerosol backscattered light at distances of up to 175 meters. The optical thickness of a polyethylene bottle can also be determined.
