The USNO Dispersed Fourier Transform Spectrograph

Abstract

The "dispersed FTS" at USNO combines a FTS with a grating spectrometer, multiplexing the interferometer output and thus boosting the instrument sensitivity. We present initial astronomical results and discuss the wide variety of future applications.
