Abstract

IMG, Interferometric Monitor for Greenhouse gases, was developed by METI, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (formerly MITI), which was 0.1 cm−1, 10 cm2, 3 bands covering (714-3030cm−1) . Several phase-A programs have been carried out after ADEOS satellite failure. A solar occultation FTS (SOFIS) for GCOM-A1 satellite was canceled after phase-B. Currently GOSAT/FTS (nadir looking, 0.2cm−1, NIR and TIR) is under phase-B.
