Testing aspheric surfaces with the differential rotational-shearing interferometer

Abstract

The differential rotational-shearing interferometer is proposed for measuring and detecting rotational- asymmetric aberrations. Its sensitivity is increased by decreasing the shearing angle. The number of fringes displayed across the pupil is controlled by the shearing angle.
