Compact Incoherent Spatial Frequency Filtering and Image Differentiation Enabled by Metalens Engineering

Abstract

A metalens opto-electronic camera for spatial frequency filtering under inco- herent illumination is introduced. By inverse-designing the phase on the metasurface, near arbitrarily structured 2D filters are realized for depth-invariant operation.
