Structural Changes of Nitroaromatic Molecules During the Intramolecular Charge Transfer

Abstract

Intramolecular charge transfer of nitroaromatic molecules is probed with time-resolved stimulated Raman spectroscopy, where two resonant stretchings (ν8a) show clear evidence for the structural changes including the twist of the biphenyl groups.
