Towards high pulse energy and short pulse duration fiber laser oscillators

Abstract

Recent progress in all-normal dispersion fiber laser design indicates these sources will be capable of producing intense ultrashort pulses. Experimental delivery of 10’s of nanoJoules compressed to sub-45 fs pulse duration will be presented.
