Tm:Fiber Laser Resonantly-Pumped Ho:YLF Laser for air/space borne lidar application

Abstract

A Tm:fiber laser resonantly-pumped Ho:YLF laser enables efficient operation at high repetition rate. A corresponding injection seeding technique has been developed. Its significant application is as the transmitter of air/space borne CO2 differential absorption lidar.
