L-band erbium-doped fiber laser using the nonlinear polarization rotation technique

Abstract

We report an L-band passively mode-locked Er-doped fiber ring laser using the nonlinear polarization rotation technique. The center wavelength of the fiber laser can be tuned from 1577.9 nm up to 1605.2 nm.
