Absorption Enhancement in Organic Photovoltaic Devices Based on Surface Plasmon-Polariton Effects

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We propose to enhance the photovoltaic effect using an Au grating electrode which induces surface plasmon-polaritons (SPPs) propagating along the active layer/bottom electrode interface and hence increases the interaction length without increasing the actual thickness. Article not available.
