Femtosecond laser-induced plasma evolution studies via third-harmonic enhancement in atomic and molecular gases

Abstract

We present studies about the temporal evolution of femtosecond laser-induced plasma in atomic and molecular gases. The evolution is imprinted in the enhanced third-harmonic signal from a filament intersected by the plasma under investigation.
