Abstract
An in-line sensing platform for detecting contaminants in aqueous solution is presented, comprising Ge waveguides, microlenses and grating couplers for rapid interfacing with mid-IR spectrometers, and a hydrophobic mesoporous layer for selectivity toward apolar contaminants.
