MIRA: A New, Ultrasensitive, Middle Infrared Laser-Based “Lab in a Lunchbox”

Abstract

A new, ultrasensitive lunchbox-sized middle infrared laser-based commercial gas sensor is described, with examples of monitoring key pullutants (CO, HCHO), greenhouse gases (CH4, N2O) with 1ppb accuracy levels in a variety of field applications.
