Graphene Enabled Silicon Ring Resonators for Photonic Network-on-Chip

Abstract

We propose graphene Silicon waveguides in ring-resonator structures for tuneable filters and wavelength-routers for future photonic Network-on-Chip (NoC). Analytical model shows up to 2.8THz FSR adequate for 14 WDM channels at 200GHz with 6.1(0.17)dB drop-(passing-)losses.
