Abstract
Passive Kerr resonators have been extensively studied theoretically in "idealist" configurations for their transverse patterns, solitons as well as e.g. their excitable regimes [1-6]. The features of such ideal cavities assume an instantaneous medium without diffusion and a high cavity finesse that allows for mean field approximation [1]. These conditions are generally far from real experimental conditions and no experiments on Localized Structures (LSs) in such passive cavities have been given up to now so that the agreement between theory and experiments still remain to be achieved.
