Pulsed laser Q-switched by graphene on silicon waveguide and ultra-low self-start threshold power realization

Abstract

A pulsed fiber laser Q-switched by graphene laying on silicon waveguide is firstly demonstrated. Patterned transfer technology is firstly utilized for pulsed lasing. The power triggering saturable absorption is calculated to be as low as 0.11mW.
