Tapered multi-mode optical fiber sensor to detect petrol adulteration

Abstract

In the present manuscript an intensity modulated optical fiber sensor has been reported to detect petrol adulteration. The sensor has been fabricated using tapered multi-mode fiber (MMF). The maximum sensitivity of 123 nW/% is obtained.
