Abstract

We demonstrate the largest-capacity 2.56-Tbps (40-Gbps × 8-wavelength × 4-optical-code × 2-POL) spectral-efficient asynchronous WDM-OCDMA-PON system using a multi-port encoder/decoder. The transmission for all channels over 50 km has been achieved for the first time.
