Enhanced Multi-hop Operation Using Hybrid Optoelectronic Router with TTL-based Selective FEC

Abstract

Multi-hop operation is demonstrated with a prototype hybrid optoelectronic router for OPS networks. TTL-based selective buffering with FEC at every N hops expands hop count without the need for 3R regeneration at each node.
