Abstract

Orthogonal dual-pump polarization insensitive wavelength conversion based on four-wave mixing of 1.2 Tb/s optical OFDM superchannel in high-nonlinear optical fiber is proposed and experimentally demonstrated for the first time. The converted signal is coherent detected, and OSNR penalty is around 2 dB after wavelength conversion.
