Measurements of optical properties of pig brain in vitro using a novel compact device

Abstract

We present the optical properties of pig brain tissue measured by a novel instrumentation for simultaneous absorption and scattering characterization. Results compare very well with data obtained with an integrating sphere for well-defined samples.
