Development of absorption based chemical sensor using fiber loop ringdown spectroscopy

Abstract

We developed a chemical sensor based on cavity-ringdown spectroscopy. Side polished fiber is fabricated and employed in the fiber loop for evanescent-field interaction with chemical. Absorption based detection of Ethylenediamine at 1540 nm is presented.
