Nitrogen Oxide Chemistry in Earth’s Atmosphere: Perspectives Based on Optical Spectroscopy from Satellites

Abstract

Space based UV-Vis measurements are used to understand NOx in Earth’s atmosphere. We describe new insights into emissions and the dependence of NOx removal rates on temperature, humidity and wind speed.
