Pseudoperiodic phase quantization approach

Abstract

A design approach for multilevel diffractive phase elements is presented. It is based on a modified iterative Fourier transform algorithm and a pseudoperiodic phase quantization scheme. Optimal suppression of quantization noise is achieved.
