Metallized photoresist grating as polarizing beam-splitter

Abstract

In this paper we propose and demonstrate the use of a simple photoresist grating, with a particular shape and covered with an Aluminum film, as a reflecting polarizing beam splitter. Theoretical and experimental results are presented confirming the viability of the element.
