Noise suppression for double-phase hologram by resampled macro-pixel encoding

Abstract

A resampled macro-pixel double-phase method to encode complex holograms is proposed. The reconstruction noise of the double-phase holograms is suppressed with the same hologram size, which is validated in numerical simulations and optical experiments.
