Combination of digital holography and speckle correlation for simultaneous in-plane and out-of-plane displacements measurement

Abstract

Digital holography allows out-of-plane displacements measurement. When zero-padding is applied, the reconstructed object amplitude contains speckle yielding determination of in-plane displacements by speckle correlation. This allows vector displacements measurement or phase restoration after accidental movement.
