Abstract

Off-axis integral floating display system using concave mirror is proposed. The image distortion caused by the off-axis structure is calculated analytically to prepare the pre-distortion process. The compensated integrated image is generated for the floated 3D image without distortion. The proposed system can achieve the high optical efficiency with simple structure compared with the on-axis integral floating using the concave mirror and the beam splitter. The basic experiment to verify the proposal is performed.
