Fundamental Study on Hybrid Orthogonal-Phase Coding and Spatial Multiplexing for Holographic Data Storage

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Calculation of the Fourier spectrum of the orthogonal phase-coded beam shows that in order to maintain phase-only modulation and orthogonality in the reference beam pattern, the phase modulator should be imaged to the recording plane.
