Cell Death and Ionic Regulation Detection with Digital Holographic Microscopy

Abstract

We demonstrate the capability of digital holographic microscopy to detect cell death through the measurement of volume regulation, considered as an early indicator of cellular deregulation, leading to cell death, and link it with calcium homeostasis.
