Speckle Noise Suppression in Fresnel Incoherent Correlation Holography

Abstract

A motionless method of speckle noise suppression improves the resolution of the best in-focus images reconstructed from digital holograms. We average several independent incoherent digital holograms of the same scene, each of which is a superposition of three digital phase-shifted recorded holograms.
