Abstract

In this paper, a magnification display of three-dimensional (3-D) images in one-dimensional (1-D) integral imaging (II) system using a lenslet array is proposed. In the proposed scheme, the magnification of 3-D images is performed by combinational use of two different techniques. One is an intermediate view reconstruction technique between horizontal elemental images and the other is an image-interpolation technique for vertical pixels. To show the feasibility of the proposed II system, some experiments are carried out and results are presented.
