Sub-diffuse optical biomarkers observed during clinical neurosurgery

Abstract

A model of sub-diffuse reflectance is validated in tissue phantoms and applied to in vivo data obtained during clinical neurosurgeries. Data provide insight into microscopic aspects of normal and malignant tissue structure and function.
