Quantum Correlations in the Stokes-anti-Stokes Raman Scattering: Photonic Cooper Pairs

Abstract

Photons can interact with each other in condensed matter by exchanging virtual phonons, via instantaneous Stokes and anti-Stokes Raman scattering. We study this phenomenon and its analogy to the formation of Cooper pairs in superconductivity.
