Quantum Coherence Effects in Plasmonics: New Dimension in Nanophotonics

Abstract

We present theoretical demonstration of quantum coherence-enhanced propagation of surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs). We show that propagation dynamics of SPPs can benefit from the quantum boost in the visible regime, adding a new dimension to nanophotonics.
