Coherence Measurements from Two-Dimensional Binary Phase Masks: Theory and Experimental Results

Abstract

A simple scheme is implemented for the measurement of spatial coherence of partially coherent fields using a two dimensional binary phase mask. Initial results indicate our methods are reliable for certain types of beams.
