Abstract

The proposed quantum wave function for two photons is a tensor field obeying a generalized Maxwell equation. The photon wave function (PWF) and its equation of motion are established from the Einstein energy-momentum-mass relation. The duality between the two- photon detection amplitude and the Wolf equations of partial coherence theory follows from the two-photon Maxwell equation.
