Real Time Wideband RF Spectrometer Using Spatial Spectral Optical Sensor Materials

Abstract

We discuss a novel coherent optical system for unity probability of intercept sensing of wideband RF transmissions. The core optical sensor materials can currently capture >30 GHz instantaneous bandwidths with better than 30 kHz resolution.
