Error Budget and Estimation in Ultraspectral Sounding Retrieval

Abstract

A consistency error analysis scheme through RTM forward and inverse calculations has been developed to estimate the error budget in terms of bias and standard deviation of differences in both radiance and retrieved geophysical parameter domains.
