Abstract

Propagating acoustic wave on the piezoelectric substrate carries strong piezoelectric field which can interact with the exciton in the MoSe₂/WSe₂ heterostructures. We observe GHz acoustic wave modulates the intensity of interlayer exciton’s photoluminescence and induces a blue shift of exciton emission energy.
