An InP Reflective SOA-EAM for 10 Gb/s Colorless Multi-IFoF/mmWave Fiber-Wireless Uplink in 5G Networks

Abstract

We experimentally present a 10-Gb/s Fiber Wireless IFoF/V-band uplink of four 625Mbaud 16QAM signals with a linear, high-power monolithically integrated reflective electro-absorption modulator with semiconductor optical amplifier for 5G mmWave fronthaul networks.
