Passively Mode Locked 265 nm VECSEL Utilizing All-Intracavity Harmonic Generation

Abstract

We present the results of an ultrafast 265 nm passively mode locked VECSEL utilizing two stage intracavity second harmonic generation. This novel design enhances the UV lasing output power without active stabilization electronics.
