Optimisation of a Femtosecond Pulse Synthesiser for High Harmonic Generation Using the Semi-Classical Model

Abstract

By tailoring the driving electric field at the sub-cycle level, high harmonic generation (HHG) can be enhanced. We use the semi-classical model to configure a three-colour femtosecond field synthesiser to deliver optimised waveforms for HHG.
