Dissipation of Topological Charge in Plasmonic Weyl Semimetals

Abstract

Breaking time-reversal or inversion symmetry are two ways of realizing a Weyl semimetal. We report that, in a plasma medium with Weyl point dispersion, the time-reversal broken realization is fundamentally more resilient against losses.
