Abstract

We present a photoconductive terahertz detector that operates at ~1 μm pump wavelengths, offering a detection bandwidth exceeding 4 THz and a 95 dB signal-to-noise ratio, a 10-dB enhancement over the state-of-the-art detectors with similar bandwidth.
