Tunable composite photonic crystal cavity on an optical nanofiber

Abstract

A tunable nanophotonic cavity with a wide tunability of ±10 nm is demonstrated using an optical nanofiber. The key point of the method is to combine the optical nanofiber with a chirped-period defect-mode grating.
